Here is another sneak peek at what I've been working on for our Christmas picture. I never thought I would use that leftover piece of brown fleece. I also never thought I would be transforming my dogs into reindeer, so I guess you have to be prepared for anything.
Our dogs enjoyed romping in the snow out back last night. I think they were so excited about wrestling in the snow that they forgot to go to the bathroom when I let them out.
My wreath is evidence of how windy and snowy it was last night.
And here we are, all snowed in. Chris is out there plowing away with the tractor. An hour later most of the snow was back where it was before because of the wind. What a day...what a day...
We had a pretty good day considering we were 'trapped' in our house. Samantha doesn't usually take good naps on the weekends, so I expected to have the same problems today. Amazingly, she nappd qutie a few times throughout the day, and in her crib none the less! Granted, she didn't sleep for hours at a time, but she tried. After she woke up from her noon-ish nap I forgot to turn off the video monitor in the living room. She thinks that thing is her little personal TV set and will stand there touching it until I make her stop or turn it off. I wonder what she must be thinking when she does that. She's probably waiting for a Baby Einstein puppet to pop up on the screen.
Oh, and I made some cranberry bread tonight. Chris doesn't really like cranberries so the whole loaf is for me...maybe I'll send some with him to work tomorrow to share...if there's any left in the morning...mmm...
We have the same monitor & love it for the most part :) The cord broke but we got a new one at Radio Shack. B's the same way - addicted to that little thing! Too funny - I can't wait to get these goofballs together :)
ReplyDeleteOh - and I'm seriously happy we haven't seen that much snow yet! I don't mind snow, but snowed-in is another story! Ha!
