Samantha did get dressed up though. Last year she was a duck.
I put my pants on after I dig them out of the laundry basket that I've been meaning to fold for the past 3 days

Halloween
This Halloween was probably the last one we'll be able to spend completely at home. We didn't go trick-or-treating, we didn't go downtown, we didn't go to the mall...we just stayed home. And it was nice. I have a feeling next year Samantha will want to go out in search of candy, and that will be fun. I'm just glad we took advantage of relaxing this time around.

This year she was a cow. There's no telling what she'll be next year when she will actually have a say in what her costume is.

Colorado
The weekend before Halloween we were in Colorado for Chris' great grandma's memorial service. It was a sad reason to be in Colorado, but we couldn't deny that we were in a beautiful place. We were able to make quick trip to some nearby mountains one day. Our intention was just to drive around and calm Samantha down (she did not have a good trip) and we ended up near the mountains. We snapped a few pictures, but the pictures just don't capture the beauty of the park we were in (Eldorado Canyon State Park).
