Happy 4th of July!

So far we've had a pretty eventful visit in Oak Lawn. We made it in around dinner time on Friday, and after we were done eating everyone decided it would be a great idea to get some night swimming in. Samantha was nowhere near being ready for bed, so she got to be in on the fun too.
The night before we left I picked up a couple of these mesh feeder things for Samantha. They're these little doo-dads that you put mushy food (we've used avocado & banana so far) or frozen chunks of melon in and then you let the baby chew on the food through the mesh. She's been interested in them for a couple of minutes and then she decides that she's tired of them. Ah well, at least she doesn't hate trying new things. We'll try to get a better picture of her and one of her mesh feeders soon...
Almost everyone who has a baby either has a boppy pillow or has heard of them. We've decided we are going to market a new product, it's called the Bandit Pillow.
If Samantha is any indicator, I think we will have great success.
Right now it's raining, and if it continues we won't make it out to see fireworks tonight. Here's hoping the skies clear up so we can put up another post with Samantha's reactions to her first fireworks display!

  2. I like the 'Bandit'! We have a 'Holly'! Bella never took to the mesh things. It's a nice idea :)
